What is your motivation?
What’s your motivation to get up in the morning? What makes you want to run the extra 5 minutes on the treadmill? Furthermore, what motivates you to do anything more than what’s required in any situation?
For me, this changes on a day to day (sometimes minute to minute) basis.
Some days it takes more than a cup (or even 3) of coffee to get me up and motivated.

When deep in procrastination mode, many will scroll endlessly through facebook or go straight to cute pictures of baby animals. Sometimes diving into the rabbit hole in the right direction can guide you back to the exit. So dive into motivational quotes and pictures by typing the word motivation into that Google search bar.

Whether you’re looking for the motivation to go to work, or get moving at the gym, there are articles that will help you restructure your thinking at Psychology Today. A great place to transition from time wasting to motivational reading is with this article on how Zombies can teach us about not giving up.
At the end of the day, it’s up to you.
Whether you feel like you can motivate yourself, or you feel like you can’t, you’re right. The decision to get things done is intrinsic. Understanding that it isn’t the tv stopping you, or facebook, or other people… that’s half the battle. Once you understand that you can accomplish whatever it is you need to, then you can start working on a plan.
All you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination.
